This is the journey of Matthew, 12 years old who has dyslexia and attempts to get a proper education through the UK school system. In our attempt to help him included treatment at the Dore Centre.

Reading
Here's an update on Mathew's reading. Still fluency problems (when reading out loud anyway), but the books are age appropriate, he isn't a fast reader and it'll never be his favourite passtime.
Great job Matthew! Keep at it. Someday, you will find enjoyable reading. My son is now reading RC car magazines for fun! :-) Maybe you have a hobby you can read about too soon.
